While I Smile

Recognising that a smile can be genuine without revealing everything we feel.
Sometimes a smile makes it seem as though everything has been said. In this face I find something that remains untold: questions, concerns, things I cannot even explain. The smile is mine, too, and it is real. I am interested in how it can exist alongside all of that, without having to resolve it or make it disappear.
